Credit Card ReliefTM is an attorney driven debt compromise program specializing in helping individuals
and families get out of debt. This program only deals with unsecured debt (credit cards, medical bills, unsecured personal loans, etc.). Credit Card Relief does not accept secured loans like a mortgage or
car loan.
How Does It Work?
When a prospective client calls after hearing one of our commercials they are greeted by an Enrollment Specialist. This professional staff member discusses the personal financial situation with the client such as the amount of their credit card debt, whether or not they have ever been late in paying on any of their cards, and then confirms which state is their place of residence.
After this preliminary conversation, the Enrollment Specialist explains the program and how it works
and how much it will cost. The cost estimate is based upon the client making a monthly payment to
the Enrolled Members Trust for the future benefit of their creditors. This amount is usually between 2
and 3 percent of the client's total unsecured debt.
As funds accumulate in the third party independent Trust, the national mediation law firm is exploring settlement possibilities with the various creditors on file for each client account.
When enough funds accumulate in the trust to generate an offer at a discount at the time of settlement, the mediation law firm contacts both the client and the creditor to generate an offer.
If the offer is accepted, the client, the client's Local Participating Program Attorney, and the
Trust pay the creditor the agreed settlement price. The debt is then marked settled and documentation is obtained to indicate this fact.
How Much Does It Cost?
We consider our fees some of the most competitive in the industry, particularly for an attorney based program. The retainer is fee is 7% of the amount of debt enrolled. There is a $49.95 monthly maintenance fee and a 25% settlement fee based upon the amount we save you at the time of settlement.
