- Develop a solution specific to your situation
An Underwriter works directly with you to develop a plan, set expectations, and prepare your package for final review by your program Attorney. This includes a detailed review of your financial statement and establishing a comfortable and adequate monthly payment to the Enrolled Members Trust for the future benefit of your creditors.
- Your program Attorney provides final approval sets plan in motion
Your program Attorney will perform a final review for acceptance into the program or issue a denial. If approved, the program Attorney and mediation staff begin immediate execution of your debt relief strategy. Your Attorney is powerless without funds in the Trust, so it is critical that you make payments according to your monthly allocation that is set at the time of Underwriting. If you able to put more money into your trust account, do so, as this will improve results.
- Your file is monitored and serviced
Our Professional Services Department provides information and access to all administrative functions and mediation services. These customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm to answer questions and provide status updates on each of your Creditor Accounts and may be reached toll-free at
800-241-3328 during normal hours of operation.
- Your payments are deposited into a Trust account which is established to secure your funds
The Enrolled Members Trust, which holds all funds paid into the program, is designed to protect your money and establishes a secure, documented transaction with your Creditor at the time of settlement. When adequate funds have accumulated in The Enrolled Members Trust, and your program Attorney has negotiated an offer to reduce, alter, or settle a debt with your Creditor, you will be contacted for approval and acknowledgement before each settlement is finalized.
- Your program Attorney mediates each of your debts
The negotiation and mediation process continues as your program Attorney works to settle each of your debts. Any additional funds that can be deposited to The Enrolled Members Trust will help achieve your goal of becoming debt free sooner. Remember, there are no settlements without money in the Trust. It is important that you stick to the plan that was crafted at the time of your enrollment. Your commitment to making payments on time is critical to your success. Additionally, it is important to return our calls and provide all documentation in a timely manner.
